How Can GI Studies help me?

Gastrointestinal (GI) imaging provides detailed information to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various stomach and intestinal illnesses or conditions. These include heartburn, indigestion, inflammation, ulcers, blood in the stool, change in bowel habits, and cancer.

There are three types of GI studies offered at Canada Diagnostic Centres including: Upper GI studies, Small Bowel Follow-Throughs (SBFT) and Barium Enemas.
